MX Team(s) – The current VAN HA FTP/s file sync process stopped working this evening from approximately 4:45-5:45PM Pacific (1 hour).  During this time, some heartbeats may not have been available for download.  Sync’ing has been restored.  No data (including heartbeats) was lost.  Engineering is reviewing for RCA.

Epicor EDI VAN/HUB Commport Interconnect customers are currently experiencing a service disruption due to an internet provider outage. 

Commport's statement responding to the outage is below: 

CUSTOMER EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION ALERT – July 8, 2022 – Internet Outage

Commport’s primary and secondary Internet Service Providers (ISPs) are currently experiencing widespread outages.  Commport’s data center is currently unable to connect to the Internet.  Multiple Internet Providers in Ontario are reporting outages and are working to reestablish internet connectivity. 

SERVICES AFFECTED:

All communications methods and website are unavailable.

CUSTOMER IMPACT:

All customer communications methods and all websites are unavailable.    Customers are currently unable to send to or pickup data from Commport, or access websites.

There is no issue within the Commport data center, Commport is monitoring the situation and Commport services will be fully restored as soon as Internet Providers restore internet services.

Commport continues to work diligently to harden our overall network and in support of these efforts is planning a maintenance window from Saturday April 9 at 09:00 PM (UTC -5) to Sunday April 10 at 06:00 PM (UTC -5).

All FTP, AS2 and SFTP communications will be intermittently unavailable between 10:00pm- 3:00am. Data processing may be slower than normal during this time frame.

Commport is reaching out today to provide an update regarding our planned extended maintenance window originally scheduled for February 25-26, 2022. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we do need to reschedule this planned maintenance window at this time.   

 

We do need to proceed with the work that is planned and so please be advised that Commport will be taking an extended maintenance window beginning on March 11th at 7:00 PM EST and extending into to March 12th at 12:00 PM EST to perform work that supports several business-critical strategic initiatives.
